Kamen: Quintet

Here is another Norfolk concert.  This is me with the East Rock Brass Quintet playing Michael Kamen's Quintet.  Michael Kamen worked mostly as a film composer.  You will know his music from films like "The Three Musketeers," "Toy Story," "Mr. Holland's Opus," and "X-Men."  He also wrote some concert works, the last of which is this brass quintet simply called "Quintet."  He passed away in 2003, the year after he wrote this quintet.

Arise!

I have the privilege of working with a stellar group of musicians in my brass quintet.  This is us playing "Arise!" by David Maslanka.  I'm very grateful to be able to play in this quintet.  It's been one of the most musically fulfilling groups I've played with.
